Lucy Bowden Fly Fishing
Level 2 UKCC game angling coach, Lucy has been going fishing since the age of five, following in the footsteps of her Dad.
Having worked at world renowned fishing tackle manufacturer, Hardy & Greys in Alnwick for nearly ten years, Lucy believes that anyone can enjoy the sport no matter their age, race, gender or ability. Her aim is simple – to offer everyone the opportunity to try fishing in a safe and supportive environment.
A female angler herself, Lucy’s dedication to encourage more females and children in particular into the sport has inspired many to give it a go.
Lucy offers instruction at Chatton Trout Fishery focused on beginners and those wishing to brush up on their skills and can provide fishing tackle where required. Her partner, World Fly Fishing Champion and England World Team Manager, Howard Croston also teaches more advanced anglers at the fishery.
